Crank & Stroker: The Real Story Behind the Brand
The Road Back: A Founder’s Story
Crank & Stroker Supply Co. wasn’t born in a boardroom. It wasn’t funded by influencers or backed by investors. It was built by hand — and later rebuilt from scratch by the guy who started it all.
We launched in 2007 with a single gritty ad in The Horse Backstreet Choppers — a mag only the real ones knew. No fluff. No flash. Just gear that worked. The response was immediate. Club guys, road dogs, garage builders — they got it.
That’s because we were first.
Before Crank & Stroker, biker gear was novelty. Costume stuff. Cheap leather, bad cuts, loud branding. I came from the garment world — and I brought that experience to the street. Full-grain hides. Clean lines. No junk. I didn’t jump on a trend — I built the lane everyone’s been riding in since.
The vests you see now? The names, the fit, the attitude? That didn’t exist until we made it real. And yeah — I watched others take it. They didn’t evolve it. They copied it. That’s not bitterness. That’s just history.
But while the brand was taking off, I wasn’t. Life got heavy. I lost time, money, momentum. The shop went dark.
And still, some of our earliest customers reached out. Not for orders. To ask if I was still around.
That brotherhood reminded me who I built this for. And why I had to bring it back.
So I did. No outside help. No marketing agency. Just hard resets and harder lessons.
Crank & Stroker came back sharper.
Every piece we make carries part of that road. Some garment names are personal. Some are markers of the struggle. That’s not branding. That’s truth in the thread.
We don’t name things to sound cool.
We name them to remember.
Crank & Stroker isn’t about nostalgia. It’s about refusal — refusal to stay quiet, to follow trends, or to let others rewrite your story.
If you’re riding through something, building something, or coming back from something — this gear is for you.
Because I’m still here.
And I’m not done.

"The billy club is awesome. The suede is perfect. And it’s a little heavier than the other c&s vest I have. I went a size down for a fitted look. Couldn’t be happier."

"I had a few questions as it seems that my measurements were "in between" sizing and received the most helpful and honest feedback directly from Andy (Owner)... Ordered a leather vest (looking forward to receipt) and bookmarked the website for future purchases!"
