Housekeeping – Important Notice

Some of you might’ve noticed the site looks different — cleaner, faster, stronger.
That’s not a rebrand.
It’s housekeeping.
We recently discovered a coordinated toxic backlink campaign targeting Crank & Stroker — a deliberate attack using fake domains and spam anchors to sabotage our search engine visibility. The goal? Bury the original leather motorcycle vest brand under algorithmic trash.
We didn’t ask for it.
But we sure as hell responded.
Someone — most likely one of these poser dropship brands that don’t even ride — decided to go nuclear. They’ve been stealing from us for years: product names, vest cuts, taglines, blog tone — even our colors. Every time we build, they bite. But this time, they crossed a line.
And not just with us.
If you're a rider — someone who wears real gear, built with intention and purpose — then they came after you, too. This wasn’t just an attack on our brand. It was an attack on every rider who’s ever patched up, geared up, and hit the road with integrity. The ones who buy once and buy right. The ones who don’t fake it.
So we did what we always do:
We took the hit.
Then we got to work.
We cleaned house. Every broken piece rebuilt. Every shadow scraped out. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just the kind of hard rebuild you only do when your reputation’s on the line.
Over 500 hours went into this site rebuild — nights, weekends, early mornings. We didn’t do it for applause. We did it because this brand was never built on flash. It was built on craft, grit, and a commitment to making the best damn riding gear on the planet.
Crank & Stroker was the first to bring real tailored leather motorcycle vests to market. The first to blend classic menswear fit with function for riders. We’ve been at this since 2007 — before the trend, before the posers, before the market even had a name. We didn’t follow trends — we built the category from the ground up. And we did it as real riders. Not posers pushing hype from behind a desk.
And now we’re taking it back.
This isn’t a comeback. This is a correction.
To whoever launched that attack:
You made a mistake.
We’re not just surviving.
We’re documenting.
We’re building.
And when the dust settles, you’ll be buried beneath it.
We’re here. We’re back.
And we’re not leaving until we’re on top.
