About Us – American Motorcycle Gear, Leather Vests & Riding Shirts

We started underground.
2007 — one gritty ad in The Horse Backstreet Choppers, the kind of mag real riders read. It wasn’t mainstream. It wasn’t polished. But it hit. Fast. Club guys, garage builders, and hardcore riders got it. They saw through the gimmicks.

Figuring we had nothing to lose, we cold-called J&P Cycles. Didn’t expect much. But they called us back. They saw what our customers already knew: this wasn’t just gear — it was the start of a shift in the culture.

Crank & Stroker was the first to bring tailored, coordinated lifestyle collections to the motorcycle world. Before it was a category, we made it one — with fit, focus, and function that could hold up on and off the bike.

Every piece we make reflects that road — from factory floors to flat-broke moments, from hard lessons to hard-earned wins.

This isn’t nostalgia.
It’s craftsmanship sharpened by experience — and shaped by the riders who stuck with us when things got rough.

We don’t follow trends.
We don’t chase hype.
We just make damn good gear that lasts — because that’s what matters.

We’ve been through fire — personally and professionally.
This brand is proof that you can rebuild and come back sharper.

Crank & Stroker was born from a choice: to cut the bullshit, get clear, and go all-in.
Some brands invent personas.
Ours was lived.

Every product name means something — not because it sounds cool, but because it marks a chapter. Some came from the edge, others from the comeback. Even “Ya Cheap Bastard”? That was a real fight between value and vice. Every label carries weight.

And that includes the one on the inside.

Life’s still life — but with a clear head and the right mindset, you ride it better.

That’s the road we’re on.
And every stitch in our gear reflects it.
