Crank & Stroker — The Story

It started on a Z50 — Just blasting around woods, trails and Golf courses. :). The path went from a Z50 to a KLR600, then to an FXSTC real fast.  While everyone else chased the newest sportbikes, the choice was different: “You’ll ride yours for two years. I’ll ride mine for twenty.”   Nearly 30 years later, that same Softail is still in the garage.

We started underground.
2007 — one gritty ad in The Horse Backstreet Choppers, the kind of mag real riders read. No polish, no hype. But it hit. Fast. Club guys, builders, and hardcore riders got it. They saw through the gimmicks and saw the value in the first to market, Heavy Denim vests & Jackets.

With nothing to lose, J&P Cycles got the call. Didn’t expect much. But they called back. They saw what customers already knew: this wasn’t just gear — it was the start of a shift in the culture.

Crank & Stroker was the first to bring real fit and function with heavy denim into the motorcycle world. The principle was simple, Stop the flapping in the wind.

Every piece reflects that road — factory floors, flat-broke moments, hard lessons, hard-earned wins. This isn’t nostalgia. It’s craft sharpened by experience, shaped by the riders who stuck around when things got rough.

No trends.
No hype.
Just damn good denim and leather and clothing that lasts.

Every product name carries weight — Breakout, Preacher, Hitman, Ya Cheap Bastard — not because they sound cool, but because they mark a chapter of the Brand. Some came from the edge. Some from the comeback.
